registration policies

REFUNDS:
1 -A full refund of registration fees (not including the Skate Canada Membership fee of $60.00) can be requested in the first two skating days if your skater wishes not to be part of the club.
2 – A partial refund on registration fees (not including the Skate Canada membership fee and cash tickets) may be requested if your child wishes not to continue after the first two skating
days.
3 -No refunds are given after November 1st.
4-For any program cancelled by the club, the club will refund prorated registration fees (not including the Skate Canada Membership) if there are 4 weeks or more remaining in the program.
PAYMENT:
Your registration will be accepted after your first instalment is paid by September 30th. If paying in 3 installments of 3 equal amounts, the remaining 2 installments are due October 30th and November 30th
If the first instalment is not paid by September 30th, the skater will now be permitted to step on the ice. Failure to pay the second and third instalments by the due date will result in the possibility of refusal of service in there is not payment plan agreed upon with the Evangeline Skating Club.

• Credit Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay: Please visit our website www.evangelineskatingclub.ca for these payment options. Please note that a 2.9% transaction fee will be applied to all payments made by credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
• NSF CHEQUES will be charged a $25 administration fee. Replacement must be cash, certified cheque or money order.

PROGRAM GUIDELINES:
CANSKATE
– All Canskate participants up to and including stage 5 must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet while on the ice. Skaters who do not wear a helmet will not be permitted on the ice. A cage is highly recommended.
STARSKATE
-All Starskate members the age of 12 and over must carry out the responsibilities of a PROGRAM ASSISTANT (PA) with Canskate program. A PA clinic will be held at the beginning of the season with our professional coach.
-Bursary hours are available for any grade 10, 11 and 12 students. It will be their responsibility to track and record their hours.
Fundraising
Cash Draw –Each family will receive 20 tickets valued at $5.00 each to sell for the chance to $1,000.00 cash.
Fundscrip: Each skater is responsible to sell gift cards. Fundscrip will give a portion back to the club of the sales earnings.
Gift Card basket draw: Each skater is responsible to bring a gift card for the gift card basket. The skaters will have to sell tickets on the basket also.
For all members who decide not to take part fundraising will be charged an amount for $350.00
