Welcome to Evangeline Skating Club
The Evangeline Skating Club is a sanctioned Skate Canada Club that abides by the rules and regulations of Skate Canada. The ESC operates as a not for profit organization, to provide the opportunity for skaters to succeed and have fun skating. The Club is a member of the Prince Edward Island Section. Programs are offered for boys and girls interested in learning to skate, hockey and ringette skill development, powerskating, and of course figure skating. Not sure what level your child is in? All students are evaluated by our coach and then if necessary the level your child is in is adjusted.

FIGURE SKATING
Our STAR 1-5 program offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of skills, freeskate, ice dance, artistic and synchronized skating.
Synchronized skating
or “synchro” is a specialized discipline of skating involving groups of eight or more skaters performing various group formations and maneuvers.

Le patinage synchronisé, ou « synchro », est une discipline spécialisée du patinage impliquant des groupes de huit patineurs ou plus exécutant diverses formations et manœuvres de groupe. L’objectif est que l’équipe se comporte comme une seule unité en exécutant des cercles, des blocs, des lignes, des roues et des intersections à l’unisson de la musique, tout en démontrant des carres de qualité, de la puissance et de la fluidité. Les catégories de patinage synchronisé accueillent les patineurs de tout âge et de tout niveau de compétence.
Le club de patinage Evangeline compte quatre équipes de patinage synchronisé.
